Liz + Wes + Rowan // Family

I’ve been digging family sessions lately! I love capturing the energy and connection between family members.

Liz, Wes, and Rowan met me at the Wilkes Street Tunnel in Alexandria, Virginia for their family photo session. Rowan LOVED the camera, and wanted to chase me the entire time. It made for some fun photos which truly captured his personality. I hope this sweet family looks back on their images from this session for years to come remembers how much fun it was to have an energetic toddler.

I would LOVE to photograph your family! I’ve only got two spots left in 2018:

  • Saturday, Dec 8th in the morning

  • Sunday, Dec 9th in the late afternoon

Contact me today if you’re interested in booking a family photo session!

Baby Ellie | DC In-Home Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

I’m an aunt! Again!

My little sister welcomed her new baby, Elizabeth “Ellie” Mara Swan, into the world back in August. I obviously could not wait to meet her, and capture some sweet newborn photos of this little nugget. She’s as cute as a button!

I loved being able to capture photos of my sister and her new little one in some of their first, tender moments together. I love newborn sessions!

Kara + Larry | 10th Anniversary | Seattle, Washington

It's settled. Everyone should bring their dog to their photo session! Tippy was such a good sport about tagging along for this 10-year anniversary session in Seattle, Washington.

That's right, Kara and Larry are celebrating their TENTH wedding anniversary this year. We connected via instagram, and coordinated this session for a gorgeous summer Seattle evening near their home downtown. I had never met Kara before, but as soon as we started messaging I just knew we'd be great friends.

Kara and Larry haven't had photographs taken of them since their wedding day in 2008, so we were all really excited to document their relationship and how far they've come. I loved chatting with them about marriage and what makes it work (laughing, they say!) They talked about moving across the country from PA to Seattle, Washington without being certain what the future would hold. I loved working with these two and learning more about their story!

Congrats, you two! (and Tippy!)
